Winning is never easy, we need discipline, determination, plan and strategies. Attitude determines how well we perform a task. Lou Moltz said; “Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.”
Have passion for the cause. Inspire people and have positive attitudes, lead the way with positive attitude and have enthusiasm to lead. Enthusiasm is infectious and motivates people to overcome obstacles. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.”
Identify the problems before setting out to solve them because setbacks can adversely affect the attitudes of people. Unearth the root cause of problems. Mingle, hear their gripes, receive their suggestions and listen before making any judgements.
Dream for success. Great philosophers, scientists, explorers, leaders all dared to dream. What each individual becomes is a matter of personal choice because mothers do not give birth to doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientist and accountants. Abraham Lincoln said, “Your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing.”
Adapt to change. Change is inevitable. In order to maintain and improve our position, we must continue to adapt to the circumstances. Mike Murdock said, “Thousand of people will fail in life because they are unwilling to make changes.” He further said, “You will never change your life until you change something you do daily.”
