Motivating Attitudes

Clement Stone said, “There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.”

The first attitude is the way we feel about ourselves. This is called self-esteem.

The second is love. Real love is always in term of what is best for the other person. Matt Zatti said, “Live through feeling and you will live through love. For feeling is the language of the soul, and feeling is truth.”

The third is faith. Faith is attitude towards God.

Hope is the fourth attitude, which is attitude towards future. John Johnson said, “Men and women are limited not by the place of their birth, not by color of their skin, but by the size of their hope”.

The fifth attitude is forgiveness, the ability to forgive others for any wrong-doing. William Arthur Ward said, “Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuffs of hate. It is a power that breaks the chains of bitterness and the shackles of selfishness”.

Maintain these five attitudes because it is easier than regaining the right attitude and you will be well on your way to success.
