Motivate Yourself To Succeed

“Success" is subjective. It means different things to different people. Some equate success to wealth and material possessions, others is the attainment of good health, peace of mind or a happy family.

Remember success is not a function of academic achievement, intelligence, heredity or luck because winners are not born; they are made with proper planning and hardwork.
Robert Collier once said, “Success is the sum of small efforts – repeated day in and day out.”

“No one can really pull you up very high – you loose your grip on the rope. But on your own two feet you can climb mountains.” Justice Brandeis.

How to motivate yourself to succeed? You must have high self-esteem, clear sense of direction and purpose, perseverance and persistence, superior human relations, action-oriented attitude, focus on your unique strength, high level of discipline, delay gratification and practice continuous self improvement.

Success is 85% attitude and 15% aptitude. William James once said, “Our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task will determine its successful outcome.”

Dream and motivate yourself to succeed in life. T.E Lawrence said, “All men dream, but not equally. Those men who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the morning to find it was but vanity, but those men who dream by day – these are dangerous men, for they dream with open eyes to make their dreams come true.”
