Self-Motivation
Many of us set goals but fail to achieve it. We feel hopeless, despair and unmotivated. Others can advise and inspire but the most significant factor that help us change comes from within. This is called self motivation.
How do we remain self motivated to stay on course and finish the task or achieve the goal?
Set your goal and prioritise them. “Never, never, never give in, in whatever you do.” Winston Churchill.
Carry out daily self-development. Read motivational books or listen to motivational tapes. “Learning is wealth to the poor, an honor to the rich, an aid to the young, and a support and comfort to the aged.” John C. Lavatar
Move away from your comfort zone. “Progress is impossible without change; and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” G.B Shaw
When you think, think big. “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” Les Brown
Do not fear mistakes and failure. Learn from it. “Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.” Henry Ford.
Be positive in your thought. “A positive attitude won’t let you do anything. But it will let you do everything better than a negative attitude.” Zig Ziglar.
Stay focus on what you are capable of becoming. Believe in yourself. “If we did the things we are capable of, we would astound ourselves.” Thomas Edison.
Stay close to people with the same ambition and goals. “Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that but the really great people make you think that you too can become great.” Mark Twain.
